We ventured over to 4th Ave this afternoon to the famous Sophie's Cosmic Cafe for a little long weekend Monday brunch. You can always count on a line up to get in. This was my perfect opportunity to at least check out a few of the shops along the avenue while my very sweet boyfriend stood in line. I don't shop on 4th that often. I noticed that Spank Shoes is going to be opening on the corner of 4th and Arbutus another shoe store is always a good thing. The regular Spank store across the street seemed a little sparse being that were in full on fall clothing time. They did have a nice collection of winter coats that will be worth another look when it comes time to buy. I had just enough time to check out Briers which most people think of as home decor. To my surprise they had a great selection of jewellery on sale for 20-25% off!! Some pieces were 50% off. This is a rarity as jewellery never goes on sale. They had some really pretty delicate gold pieces, mixed with a variety of semi precious stones. As well as some silver and semi precious pieces. They also had Mimi & Marge jewellery on sale which made me remember the sale is coming up here are the deatils:
