justifiable fur?

I was checking out Deluxe Junk yesterday and the first thing I spotted was a really beautiful black vintage fur coat. I tried it on immediately. The fit was perfect. The price good $99. But the practical side of my brain had to kick in. It's fabulous and gorgeous but more of a evening look. Really in the city of drizzle I would be more justified in buying a something water repellent or least with a hood. Sadly no vintage Burberry raincoats were to be found.
