Every once and awhile our friend invites my boyfriend and I to tag along with her down to Bellingham to go shopping. We lovingly refer to this as America day, and we love because it gives us an excuse to eat food that is really bad for us and shop at Target. Target is my all time favorite store. It's so esthetically pleasing, bright, colourful and fun and best of all cheap....even with the conversion. As we wandered through the mall trying on cheap shoes and drinking the super fattening american version of orange julius we inevitability entered a Bath & Body Works. I spent $50 on body lotion...it was buy 2 get one free on the signature lotions AND they now have the really yummy coconutty summery ones which were buy one get one free. It's seriously the best lotion ever...the scent last all day. We also purchased copus amounts of cheap chocolate (and you say mint flavoured 3 musketeers!) and some clothing. I came home with a really great trench coat with a hood for $40 (and the size small fits me!) and my BF bought 2 vintage printed tees for $20. To cap off our adventures in the land of extremly large portions we had a lovely Mexican feast at Mi Mexico for about $10 a person and the portion size enough for three. God bless America.
