I like to know what's going on in the city, what's the point of paying the cost of living to live here if you don't go out and participate? During Vancouver Fashion Week a representative from Nightlife Montreal was handing out the magazine and signing people up and viola your on a distribution list. I was surprised to see a very comprehensive list of concerts and a category called "clubbin", complete with dates, times and $$price and a good little blurb on the band or DJ. They also list theatre, art, and fashion although not quite as thorough as the concert section. All in all it's a good thing to have a scroll through and see if anything gives you the motivation to get out of the house and socialize plus you will impress people by your vast knowledge of the music scene in Vancouver bonus.
