Wow it's been a super amazing busy whirlwind of models, hair, make-up, catwalk, lineups, shoes and of course clothes! I've been so busy working back stage a head dresser I haven't had much time to write about the shows. So far the most amazing part was dressing the Anna Sui show. The outfits were exactly the same as from the New York show. So beautifully and amazing coordinated. Everything was kept tightly under wraps until mere minutes before the show to avoid the pawing hands of models. Every out fit had a perfectly coordinated shoes and accessories down to the gorgeous pattered tights (not the easiest thing to dress!). The fabrics were rich, lush and oh so bohemian glam. It's been so great working with the emerging designers as well, there enthusiasms and energy is amazing. They have a definite vision and it's great to be able to help them make there vision a reality on the catwalk.
Today is jammed packed with shows the busiest day yet at the Arts Chapel. Here is the lineup
4pm Emerging Designers
6pm Coquette Couture 1827 (full show with 48 pieces)
8pm Huffer USA
And of course every night is a after party which your ticket to the day of shoes grants you access to. Tonight is at Relish starting at 9pm.
